Pluto, It's Your Lucky Day

After several unfortunate days of trying to launch, NASA was finally able to send its craft towards Pluto today. It's important to note that Pluto is this solar system's last planet that needs explorin' and the purpose of the 3 billion mile trip is to study icy "stuff" on the outer edges of the planetary system.

The craft should reach our moon by 11 p.m. or so tonight and Jupiter in about a year. Scientists won't actually be able to receive data from Pluto until 2015.

Today is a good day for NASA and for us.
