Should the President be Censured?
That is the question put forth before a Senate hearing today by John Dean, former counsel to Nixon during Watergate.
The issue at hand? The President's wire tapping program which has been used in the War on Abstract Nouns.
My favorite part of the article from CNN.com:
"This resolution puts Senate Democrats in the unfortunate position of looking like they are not serious about the war on terror, while the president is doing everything possible within the law to protect the American people," said Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas.
Within the law? Within the LAW??

Actually, a good censure can be healthful to the soul. Mostly we should probably try to run a good candidate against him in 2004.
