Plan B restrictions lifted...somewhat

This is fantastic news! With this, we are one step closer to reproductive freedom. Hopefully next we will see birth control available over-the-counter for women 18 and older without a prescription and after that, available for all females.

I do have a problem with pharmacists checking id's to ensure that women are over the age of 18, but as long as they are not keeping a database on individuals who choose to use Plan B (like they do with purchasers of Benadryl, et. al,) I will still feel happy about this victory.

Keep in mind that this is only a very small step towards true reproductive rights, but at this point, after the recent blows to abortion rights, I'll take anything I can get in the way of more freedom for women.
