On Our Watch

An interesting documentary called "On Our Watch" can be found here, from pbs.org. It lays out the timeline of the situation in Darfur and asks why the UN and the world at large have ignored the genocide and why we didn't learn our lesson after Rwanda. It also asks how we can have slogans like "Never Again!" but then completely ignore the immense human suffering occurring right now. It's an interesting look at what has been dubbed the first genocide of the 21st century. I hope that eventually it will also be called the last.
