Introducing ... Chloe!
Chloe moved in with us today. She is a 5-year-old shih-tzu that we adopted from the pound and thus far she mostly lays around and smells bad. Since she just had surgery yesterday we won't be able to properly groom her for another week or so.
Fortunately, Chloe was rescued from a puppy mill. The conditions she lived in for her first 5 years of life were deplorable and I hope we'll be able to help her rehabilitate so she can live out the rest of her days as a dog should: plenty of food and humans that love her.
I think they're going to get along!
She's all smushy!

Ras gives her 2 paws up and says he can't wait to ripsnort around with another friend. And he has no interest in making puppies (not that either of them could anyway). He only likes human children.
So cute!! We need to do a play date soon!
wow...husband, child, cat, dog, you guys are becoming a nice happy nuclear family :)
