Smoking

It's been exactly ten days since I quit smoking. It honestly hasn't been that hard so I guess I was more ready to quit than I thought. David and I smoked a cigarette last Sunday night and it was so nasty I had to put it out after just a few puffs. I'm really glad we did that because it just reaffirmed my resolve to not smoke anymore.

I have noticed two main changes in my life since I quit smoking. First, I haven't had any chest pain, dizziness, or passing out. Second, my hair smells much better all the time.

Another thing I've noticed is that my appetite hasn't changed. I was really afraid that I would have a hard time losing weight after quitting but I've lost eight pounds since June 4th. My goal was to lose ten pounds by July 15 so I think I need a new goal!
