"...I will defend to the death..."

I think it was Voltaire who said something like, "I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Can you imagine finding the individual viewpoint so sacred that you would be willing to die for it? It seems to me that no matter who started the fighting, most wars are fought simply by one side not being able to see the other side’s viewpoint.

So how do we spread the enlightenment of this concept? I have no idea. I just thought it was a really cool sentence.
