Sitting in Class...

So, yep, I'm sitting in class alright. I'm paying GOBS of attention, obviously. :) Isn't like 85% of college just showing up? Please?

I'm actually really digging school here. I've been here for exactly four weeks now and I figured out the best way ever to make friends...throw some shindigs!

I skipped my Constitutional class today so that I could try and score tickets to the next screening of Serenity. I KID YOU NOT when I say that I literally was at my laptop at 10:00 a.m. and I stepped into the other room for a sec and Ryan called me at 10:03 to tell me the tix were up and by the time I finished entering my info, the tickets were completely gone. That's GOTTA be some kind of record. I was pleased to see that all 35 cities are now sold out, now. I think it's great for our Big Damn Movie!

Jack's coming to Dallas on Sunday. He'll be here for several days with my sister as she and her fiance are taking him to Six Flags for his birthday. Looks like I'll only get to hang with him on Sunday because of my work and school schedule but it's all good because I'm going to Oklahoma next weekend to spend his birthday weekend with him. w00t!! He asked me to get him Halo2 for his bday...um...yeah.

I went with Jason & Brigette last night and hung out with their Mensa buddies for $1 beers at Two-Rows. It was a good time. Who'da thunk that geniuses could be so freaking cool?? :-D

Well, as the responsible, non-lazy student that I am (AS IF), I'd better get back to paying attention. But I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you that has been there for me during this crazy transition of mine. Especially you, Ohio Dave. You've been there for me early in the morning, late at night, just whenever and I owe you BIG TIME for that.
