And then there were none...

The UB is dead. The chat is dead. All of it is gone. Over 5000 posts over the course of 18 months...all gone. Over 77,000 members...all gone. Hundreds (or possibly thousands...math is hard) of threads...no longer there.

Joss and Nathan both posted during the last few days and that was awesome. We had something really special there and I certainly hope that none of us ever forget it.

I wish I could be with my fellow UB Browncoats tonight in order to raise a glass to everything we gained from being members of that community and for everything we've lost since it has now ended. But you're all over the world and not here. I wish I could go into chat right now to lament our loss...but it's dead and we are scattered.

I miss you guys already, but like Joss said, we have done the impossible and that makes us mighty. But I'm still really sad right now. Today truly marks the end of an era.
