Co-Worker: I've already got a new job.
Me: Oh yeah? Where is it?
Co-Worker: I don't know yet.
Me: I don't get it.
Co-Worker: "First you shall believe and then it shall be done."
Me: Is that Jesus stuff?
Co-Worker: Yes. Yes it is.
And then she patted me on the head.

Guess I didn't put enough in the collection plate or click my heels together hard enough.
You're missing the point.
You believe it. Then you work hard, save lots of money, and pay off all your debts. Then you give your imaginary god the credit, because you are just a lowly sinner who couldn't have done it on your own.
And if, for some reason, you fail to pay off your debt quickly, you need to repent and ask for forgiveness, because you are weak and let god down.
So if it goes well, it's god. If not, it's you.
