Christian Domestic Discipline
Now where I come from, we'd just call this kinky.
Just me being me. Or, how I'm learning to love the eternal mystery/paradox/craziness that is otherwise known as my brain. "We have done the impossible and that makes us mighty." - Joss Whedon

I know. My mom and I were talking about it this morning and she was enraged at the thought that people could take the bible and glean this from it. And as she said, this is just an excuse for men to be "allowed" to beat their wives. My mother is incredibly strong and I cannot imagine what would've happened in our home when I was growing up if my dad had ever suggested anything like this.
As I told her, people are stupid. People want power and are ready and willing to take any power that is offered to them even if it means they hurt the ones they love the most. There's not enough room in the world for all men to be dictators of countries but that doesn't stop some of them from trying to be in their own homes. It makes me sick.
I'm going to have to ask Erica if this is OK. :) She's been a bad, bad girl.
