Sometimes the universe doesn't totally suck

The Duckling's husband emailed me this week to let me know about an opening at his place of employment. Unfortunately, it won't work for me to take the job because it's full time but I emailed him my boss's resume and he sent it up the chain. Today they called her and asked her to come in for an interview on Monday. I really hope it works out for her.
